Rho Nu Chapter Strengthens Community Through Quarterly Service at Galveston County Food Bank

The Rho Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proudly continued its commitment to service through its quarterly volunteer initiative at the Galveston County Food Bank. Demonstrating the fraternity’s enduring dedication to uplifting communities, chapter members came together in support of an essential cause—helping ensure local families have access to nutritious food.

During this impactful service effort, members worked collectively to package 9,894 pounds of frozen food and 5,837 pounds of dry goods, directly supporting the food bank’s distribution efforts across Galveston County. These contributions will help provide vital meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout the region.

Service remains a cornerstone of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the Rho Nu Chapter continues to lead by example through consistent, hands-on community engagement. By partnering with the Galveston County Food Bank, the chapter not only supports immediate needs but also contributes to long-term solutions that strengthen the health and stability of the community.

Through initiatives like this, Rho Nu reaffirms its mission of uplifting those in need, fostering unity, and creating a lasting, positive impact across Galveston County.
